This morning we followed a picturesque, but sometimes primitive, road along the banks of Rock Creek (in the Rock Creek Recreation Area, part of Beaverhead Deer Lodge NF). Beautiful scenery, perfect weather and even a couple of big horn sheep (making the most of a 'lick' left by a local farmer).
The little village of Philipsburg gave us an opportunity to stretch our legs and put in a "daily walk" as part of our effort to "get some exercise" on this trip.
Camping
South of the ex copper smelting town of Anaconda we followed a forest road to a small camping ground on Lower Seymour Lake where we cooked up a nice pot of rice-a-riso over a delightful camp fire.
